Ken Beller
Ken Beller has over 15 years’ experience in the Civil and Construction industries. Ken has an extensive knowledge in Traffic Management, Demolition, Pre-Cast Concrete Manufacture, and road/bridge construction. He actually started his working life as a mechanic before deciding to change industries to the civil construction industry, where he has strived to excel and hone his skills.
Ken has spent the last 5 years in the Traffic Control industry in a management position, including Traffic Manager on a Roads and Maritime Project. He has extensive experience on major highway upgrades including – Sapphire to Woolgoolga, Nambucca Heads to Urunga, Fredrington to Eungai, Kempsey to Kundabung, Warrell Creek to Nambucca Heads, Woolgoolga to Halfway Creek, Halfway Creek to Glenugie and the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade. Throughout these projects, he has worked with some of the biggest civil construction companies in Australia, including Lend Lease, CPB, Fulton Hogan, Pacifico (Acciona/Ferrovial JV), York, OHL, GE, Georgiou, CMC, Delaney, Seymour Whyte, See Civil, Davbridge, Golding Contractors and NJ Constructions.
Ken also loves the challenge of Event Traffic Control, having now being at the helm of the traffic management for the Australian Round of the World Rally Championship on numerous occasions. Ken has also run the Traffic Management for such events as the Coffs Harbour Triathlon and the 725 Squadron march, in addition, he has also been responsible for the Traffic Management of multiple car shows.
Despite working on some very large projects, Ken enjoys working with smaller clients and helping safely fulfilling their traffic control needs as well. Whether it is just a simple Traffic Control Plan to satisfy local council requirements or a full package of a Traffic Management Plan, Traffic Control Plans and crews to implement the plans.
Ken holds the highest level of traffic control qualifications, and although now working as the National Manager, he still likes to get out on site and get hands-on whenever he can. He has a passion for supplying a superior product, and as such personally approves all Traffic Control Plans produced by Complete Traffic Safety Solutions. Ken also still writes most major Traffic Management Plans for Complete Traffic Safety Solutions, including Traffic Management Plans that have been used for major Roads and Maritime Projects.
Ken has also added the service of Permanent Sign Installation to the Complete Traffic Safety Solutions portfolio. As with all of the other services provided Permanent Sign Installation is provided to the highest level, meeting all “Roads and Maritime” as well as “Australian Standards”. Complete Traffic Safety Solutions have provided Permanent Sign Installation to projects such as Woolgoolga to Ballina and Windfarm construction in southern New South Wales. Permanent Sign Installation is provided as a full supply and installs service.
Ken is driven to provide the most efficient service in the safest way possible and strives to follow all projects through from initial contact, to planning and final delivery. He makes himself available to visit sites and liaise with clients to ensure all projects go according to plan, run safety and all of the client’s objectives are met.
